STAR Mission Statement     *To provide a safe non competitive horseback riding experience for disabled people ages 3-60. *To help students improve strength, mobility, balance and coordination. *To enhance social and communication skills of students. *To boost students' confidence and self esteem. *To encourage respect and appreciation for other individuals and animals. *To offer a relaxed environment where disabled people and their families can talk about experiences, network and share other therapeutic resources. *To promote awareness of the challenges disabled people face and the opportunities available to help overcome them.
